Give me more Johto to explore.Steelheart I'll Never Let You Go Rustic Script Song Lyric Music Art Print If I wanna go through Kanto, I'll play FRLG or LGPE or a Kanto-based rom hack. But I personally can't even get there because I find myself getting so insanely bored once I beat the Elite Four for the first time. For a lot of people, defeating Red is the true end of the game (which comes with its own share of problems due to the grind). I think their reasons for doing this back in the early 2000s were valid after coming off of the massive success of RBY, but I wish the remakes had fixed this. I wish they had fleshed out Johto more instead of focusing so much on Kanto. I acknowledge that a big draw to the game is that you can revisit Kanto several years later and explore a whole second region, but I play Johto games for Johto. Like I'm seriously going into the Elite Four with Pokemon that are in the 40s? Really? It feels like I barely got to spend any time with them. It makes it so you can fight Jasmine, Pryce, and Chuck in any order that you want, but results in a super boring and underwhelming level curve. ![]() But the pseudo-open world aspect of the games once you reach Ecruteak really spoils the game for me. Thanks for the developers and thank you all for the attention, hope you have a good day If you haven't played it yet, do yourself a favor. I would have used another electric type (not a fan of using legendaries even though I love raikou) but only found the Elekid line, which I already used lots of times, and the Shinx line, which sucks. ![]() Here's a picture of my hall of famers (Gallade's name is because of Muhammad ali, not the prophet. Also, if someone knows if there's post game content could you lend me a hand please? I did a blind run (the victory road is amazing, or rather, a-maze-ing hahaha) and thus couldnt find more cool pokemon, but I managed to build a team that I enjoyed very much. The game is hard without being unfair and doesn't seem to rely too much on the competitive/meta side, thankfully. ![]() Everything is beautiful, fun and the storyline is awesome. You truly honored the Johto region, my favourite one, even better than gamefreak. I just wanna say thank you to the people who made it. It is definitely one of the best pokemon games - hack or not - that I ever played, as the title says. ![]() Couldnt find a dedicated subreddit to it so I'm posting here, sorry if it's against the rules. I found about Pokemon GS Chronicles this weekend and I just finished it. ![]()
